— Brand Identity

The Museum of Art & Photography in Bengaluru, India, was chosen as the client for the 2025 Global Young Lions Design Competition in Cannes. The brief asked participants to develop a name and identity for a new exhibition exploring the history of sequential storytelling in India.

As the first Canadian design team to represent at Cannes, Zoë and I approached the challenge head-on, titling the exhibition IN Frame, a nod to India’s shorthand as well as a literal framing device for the work. With the museum’s digital-first approach in mind, we created a flexible motion system that allowed the identity to adapt seamlessly across screen sizes while remaining visually engaging on every platform.
